Thanks to Phil Hayward for sending us this photo taken on 6th September 2008 near Blaby, Leicestershire. We think it is Bagnall 2370 of 1929. Here is a photo of 2370, probably when new. Video of HP2 Video of working fireless loco at Semboro Sugar Mill, Java Ayrshire Railway Preservation Group have started work on restoring their fireless locomotive to steam. This is Shell Refinery Number 8 (Andrew Barclay number 1952 of 1928) which was the last working steam locomotive in Scotland. Here is a photo of No.8 marshalled in a goods train hauled by a diesel locomotive.
